The transfer of shares (closing) is dependent oncompliance with the usual contractual terms and is expected to be completedwithin the next few days.Leading IT solution provider for the healthcare marketThrough this acquisition of GEMED, Allgeier Group is further strengtheningtheir service portfolio and opening up new prospects. GEMED, which wasestablished in 1995, develops, produces and implements modular ‘PictureArchiving and Communication Systems’ (PACS) which are used in hospitals,radiology units and orthopaedic centres. With over 500 systems installed inGermany and Switzerland, GEMED is a leading speciality supplier.By joining Allgeier Group, GEMED is gaining access to Allgeier’s largecustomer base, and will therefore be able to substantially extend theirrange of services.
